Aquifer Film Studio is a spacious and versatile photographic studio with Multipurpose Stage in East London, located in the heart of the city’s creative scene. The space has been thoughtfully designed by filmmakers for filmmakers – with a focus on adaptability, comfort, and speed of setup. Our stage offers four configurations in one: a white cyclorama, green screen, full blackout stage, and drive-in access – all available in a matter of minutes. This means you can move from shooting a high-key fashion look to a pitch-black dramatic scene or green screen plate without needing to change location. The studio is completely private and self-contained, giving you total control over light, sound, and atmosphere. From large-scale productions to personal projects, we aim to provide a professional yet relaxed environment, so you can focus on the creative process without distraction. We also care deeply about our environmental impact. Our studio has a zero single-use plastic policy, makes use of LED lighting and low-energy appliances, and is continually improving its sustainable practices to help support more responsible production. Whether you’re here for a day or a week, you’ll find the studio spacious, adaptable, and easy to use – giving you the peace of mind and flexibility to make your best work. Allowed uses - film / photography / private event Not allowed uses - pornographic, public events - Storage - on request and subject to availability. - Sound treated - Our studio is sound treated to some extent, and relatively quiet. Lots of live events and interviews have been recorded here, and they have easily managed to record a high-quality sound. - On-site paid parking. Cleaning - It is the Hirer’s responsibility to leave the Studio clean, tidy, and in the same condition as at the start of the hire. “The same condition” is defined as free of all rubbish, damages, and alterations. Failure to do so will result in additional charges for cleaning, repairs, or restoration. Until the studio is cleared and restored to its original condition, it is deemed on hire, and additional charges will apply.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance are eligible for a full refund. - The Hirer is liable to 50% of the total amount of the hire fee if they cancel the session between 7 working days to 30 days of the confirmed booking date. - Cancellations or no shows within 7 days of the booking date are non-refundable under any circumstances and the Hirer is liable for 100% of the hiring fee. Rescheduling sessions can/may be arranged and Aquifer Film Studio reserves the right to apply new terms and conditions which varies depending on the individual circumstances and studio availability. Refund terms and conditions are not applied for the new rescheduled date, and the customer is liable to 100% of the hiring fee. In an unforeseen event and circumstances that results in cancellation of the booked session by Aquifer Film, which is out of control and is not as a result of the neglect, Aquifer Film Studio will not be liable to any loss of the client/hirer in any form and a full or partial refund will be issued.
